Kicking off the 15th anniversary of Japan’s D1 Grand Prix professional drifting series, or simply known as the D1GP, was an exhibition run by a Tesla Model S.
While the drifting competition was certainly the headline act of the weekend’s program, it was the Model S which brought the fans to their feet. Watch the two ton electric sedan shred apart a good set of tires while whipping itself through a tight drifting course with masterful precision.
